Silver Sprocket

Short videos made to celebrate the end of the year accomplishments some of our books got in 2023. These videos were posted on Instagram and shared across our other social pages. The goal is to celebrate our successes and drive customers to buy some of our best work.

The theme I was given for the videos was “electronic disco” and I was directed to make them look a little tacky. Each video was designed by me and all copy was written by me. The videos were made on Adobe Express.

The Toronto Comic Arts Festival is the largest independent comic arts festival in North America. Across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook they have an audience of over 32,000.

Silver Sprocket

Silver Sprocket is a small, independent publisher based in San Francisco. They are a radically queer imprint with an extremely responsive and active audience. Across Instagram and Twitter they have an audience of over 40,000.

Small Press Expo (SPX)

"The annual SPX comics and graphic arts festival presents the best and brightest established creators in independent comics. In addition to the opportunity for public exposure and potential revenue the festival provides to attending artists, the event also allows less established to network with publishers and prominent creators, providing unique opportunities for the comic artist/writer that is just starting out."

I was tasked with helping curate artists’ social media handles, contact info, and websites to reach out to them and to write up posts featuring each artist tabling at the event this year.

Day of, I was tasked with generating the content of what everyone was buying from the event and speaking with various artists to generate buzz for their tables and wares.

Red Nose Day USA

All social channels were monitored through the apps themselves and through Sprout Social. Across Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook they have an audience of over 200,000.
